Mother's Day - More Fun at the Park

We spent Mother's Day at Nikki's favorite park (about 3 blocks from our house) with Grandma, Grandpa, Oma and Opa. The 7 of us walked from our house with picnic baskets in tow and had a great day playing on the playground, throwing the ball for Kota and having a great lunch outside.

Fun in the park

Nikki has taken to the slides at the neighborhood park like a fish to water. She climbs up and dives head first down the 10 foot high spiral slide. She moves so fast she builds up a little static electricity.

Easter Sunday

We had Easter at the Sundberg's today, it was Nic's first egg hunt. She did a great job, finding 19 of the 33 eggs, Heidi found the other 14. We had ham, turkey, scalloped potatoes and cake for Jenny's birthday.

After the egg hunt we played in Amy and Craig's back yard.

All in all a pretty good day.

Alergic to Amoxicillin

Well we had our first run with an alergic reaction to Amoxicillin. Nic woke up yesterday covered in Hives. Turns out to be an alergic reaction to the Amoxicillin she was taking for an ear infection. She's in good spirits but her little hands are so swollen they make it hard to grab her toys. She's being quite the little trooper through all this.
